Cone Beam 3D Imaging

Cone beam computed tomography is an innovative medical imaging technique that provides orthodontists with 3D views of the patient. This can assist the doctors in being proactive with treatment.

Digital Impressions

Advanced scanners, like the iTero Scanner,  work by capturing thousands of pictures of your teeth and oral structures and assembling them into an incredibly precise 3D model in five minutes or less!

3D Printer

Here at Rallis & Bonilla Orthodontics, we have two in-house 3D printers! This technology allows for excellent, in-office production of appliances with incredible accuracy, repeatability and flexibility. After producing a clear, digital model with our iTero scanner, we can print the 3D model and make retainers in-house to better serve our patients and employees with shorter delivery times, reduced costs and improved workflows!

Invisalign

Rather than using brackets, wires and elastics, Invisalign uses clear plastic aligners designed based on the needs of your dental anatomy. The shape and design of the aligners gently move your teeth into place. Your teeth move a little bit more each time you move from one aligner to the next in the series. Eventually, your teeth will be right where you want them to be, and you’ll be happy you never needed braces.

A Different Approach to a Healthy Smile

In the past, getting treatment meant having x-rays taken, making plaster models, and spending a long time wearing braces. SureSmile changes all of this. Instead of older imaging and models, it uses 3D computer imaging to inform the treatment plan and the design of the braces. To make them more precise—and faster—the archwires are created by robots, not humans, ensuring exact results that cute down on treatment time. CBCT (i-CAT)

The i-CAT Cone Beam 3D Imaging System is designed to allow orthodontists to complete imaging quickly, easily, and without invasive techniques. This technology allows the doctors to get a full 3-dimensional view of the entire face and jaw, allowing for higher accuracy in diagnosing and treatment planning.

i-CAT technology can be used for:
  • Evaluation and treatment planning for orthodontic care
  • TMJ treatment
  • Airway assessments
  • Sleep apnea studies
  • 3D images of the face and jaw

In just 20 seconds, the i-CAT can gather all the data needed for your doctor to plan an accurate and effective treatment plan. There is no discomfort with i-CAT, making our patients happier. And since it delivers incredible images, we love it, too!
